Simon:  And what was going out in Gosport like in those days?

Much better than it is now. There’s been a big difference.

I mean you know, the military presence obviously we can now … partly we can now see you know with businesses and Pubs closing you know the night life not being as vibrant as it used to be, we can see that it’s had a massive impact on the Town.

Back then we just had some great nights out, all the Pubs are open, it’s just not like that anymore.

I think there’s been a massive change, but then that could be to do with the fact tat the cost of living and rises as well, I think there’s many different factors to consider, but back then it was great. Great nights out.
