Don Cleavin – Living quarters in Gosport

When we got married first of all, we came down to Gosport. We lived in Peel Road in Gosport in an Admiralty Hiring.

Simon What does that mean?

It was a private house. A rented flat; we had the upstairs.

It was alright, a nice old couple ran it, no problem at all.
