Steve Thorpe – Jumping out of a plane
Well you just know when you’re stepping out, what you’re stepping out in to, so your senses are on overload, so you hear the wind, ‘cos obviously jumping out of a plane that doing 100 miles per hour or whatever it’s doing, so you’re jumping out and your senses are on overload and you’re told all this routine to do and count to 4000 and check your canopy’s there and then once your canopy’s opened, you can talk like this. It’s really bizarre, even though you’re spread out quite a lot, you can just … ‘cos there’s no other noise about.
It’s really, really bizarre. Then you land in the water and a boat picks you out the water like, so yeah.
