You’ve got a Teacher for a reason. You’re not called Assessor, you’re called Teacher and what I used to say to my students is if someone does fail, part of that failure is mine because I should have been able to teach you.

You’ve been selected for the Course, so more than one person thinks you’re capable of passing it and being a successful submarine CO.

You’re passed over to me and if I fail you, part of that blame has got to lay with the Teacher, it just has.
